The EnABL Research Team is part of the KITE Research Institute-University Health Network and affiliated with University of Toronto, Dept of Occupational Sciences and Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences Institute and Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education. Our research works to expand on knowledge of factors contributing to fall risk for older adults, mechanisms of balance recovery, and how to design our built environment to support safe and equitable access for people as they age with and without disabilities. Data is collected in our state-of-the-art CEAL facilities at the KITE Research Institute or within the community. We disseminate our research findings to develop clinical education tools and inform built environment standards or policies across Canada.
